June 20th: Mark it on your calendar!

So we have decided that we will get married on Saturday, June 20th. It's going to be a really crazy time because it is the day after the last day of classes but it's the date we feel is perfect for us. We chose the place and are in the process of making invitations! :)

Here are some photos of us from spending a day together in Hong Kong. It was Jimmy's first time going to the peak.. lookout of the whole city.

We had dinner with dear friends of ours, Jesse and Eileen, after they got back from their trip to Europe. They heard about our engagement right before leaving and felt they needed to hear the whole story! haha!

Jimmy is crazier than he looks if you can believe it.

Jesse: "Let's hear the story from the beginning..."

The rest are photos from different times of hanging out with family and friends.

During the Chinese New Year, the family Jimmy lives with and his roommate invited us over there for hot pot. The food was so good and everyone was very friendly. I enjoyed meeting everyone. It was a good time.

Sweet...

The boys

Too cute!

So much food!

I Said Yes!

On Saturday, January 17th, I went on my first date with Jimmy. He has been my friend since I arrived in China and after getting to know him over the past year and a half, I have grown to love and care for him. So, when he asked me on a date, I was very excited to say yes. Well, I was blessed with even more than that, because after sharing with me about how he felt, he asked me to marry him!! And of course, I said yes! We are both very excited about our decision and I thank God for him everyday. He's an amazing guy, loves the Lord, and I look for to my life ahead as his wife...So here's my first photo with the love of my life, Jimmy.

Here are some photos from hanging out together at Evergreen Park. It was a wonderful day...we had lots of fun.

Two people stood on a post and then had to try to knock each other off with the ball. John was the master at this one. Jimmy barely stood on it before he got knocked down and I didn't last long either. I certainly didn't put up much of a fight against John. haha

We started off the day by walking around and checking things out. Here we are trying walk on stilts..it was very hard to do. We could only take a couple of steps before falling off. It was a lot of fun just being able to spend time with Jimmy.

After walking around for a bit, we went to a little restaurant and drank tea and talked all afternoon. Then we went to supper with everyone else from the fellowship. After that, we had some fun hanging out with everyone and playing ping pong.

Jimmy and his best bud Jeff...

Crazy people...Jimmy, John and Jeff.

Jimmy and his sister, Bonnie...she's cute.

Having fun...
